Experienced defenceman Tom Avery has re-signed with your Haringey Huskies for the upcoming season.

Tom first joined us halfway through 2019/20 season, scoring 10 points in 9 games. He also played 3 games in the recent Spring Cup competition.

He had previously accrued a wealth of experience playing for Bracknell Bees and Hornets, Slough Jets and Oxford City Stars before signing for the Huskies after a short break from the game.

Tom told us: “I am delighted to be staying with the Huskies and really glad to be back out on the ice. It’s going to be an exciting season for sure.”

Head coach Dan Sampson is very pleased to have Tom on the roster, adding: “Tom is a smart defenceman. He is calm on the puck in his own zone and enjoys getting up the ice and joining the rush.

“He has a good shot and an eye for a pass which will be key for this season. I will be expecting Tom to be an important part of our defence core and to play in all situations.”
