Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to announce the return of Ryan McFarlane to the club, with the transfer completed ahead of yesterday’s signing deadline.
The defenceman first joined the team during the 2018/19 season and was a key part of the squad that won the league title the following season. Events then took him back to his native Scotland, though he did appear in a couple of games for the club during the Spring Cup series. He started this season with the Paisley Pirates in the Scottish National League, but is now heading back down south.
General manager Lee Mercer is very pleased with this development, telling us: “Having Ryan back at Haringey is a massive boost for us as we push for honours this season. He is a very solid team-player with a lot of experience in the game.
“He already knows most of the players, plus the coaches and all the off-ice team, so he will slot right back in. On a personal level, it will be great to have another Scotsman around the place.”
Ryan added: “I’m very happy to be re-joining the Huskies and am looking forward to seeing all the guys again. I can’t wait to get going and help the team in our final push for silverware this season”.
Welcome back Mac.
