Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to retain defender Gyuri Dragomir for the 2022/23 season.

This will be Gyuri’s fifth season in a Huskies jersey, having signed ahead of the 2018/19 season. Initially operating as a forward, Gyuri soon transitioned to defence, with his eye-catching breakouts from the back keeping supporters on the edges of their seats.

Head coach Dan Sampson is delighted to keep Gyuri at Haringey, telling us: “Retaining Gyuri was a key part of our plans. He is a standout player at this level with his fantastic vision, skill set and speed, and his return is a huge boost for us.

“Gyuri has a hunger to win and always sets his own personal performance level extremely high. He is a very dangerous player when on the ice and very popular with the fans, who I’m sure will be ecstatic with his return this season.”

Gyuri added; “I’m really looking forward to another season at the legendary Alexandra Palace with an eager squad that will be back to hunt the silverware. If we can continue to grow the team dynamics, we can definitely reach new heights this season”

Look out for our 2022/23 ‘Own and Loan’ scheme, which will be launched later in June.
