NETMINDER LUKE CLARK RETAINED

Your Haringey Huskies are thrilled to have retained the services of netminder Luke Clark for the 2022/23 season.

The 19-year-old goalie had an excellent first season with the club last time around, registering an impressive 92.23 save percentage across all competitions and giving the team a real lift. He dominated the end of season presentations, picking up the coaches’, players’, and supporters’ player of the season awards.

Head coach Dan Sampson is delighted to keep Luke at the club, telling us: “This is a huge signing for us. Luke was fantastic last season which showed at the end of season awards night. He won us games on his own at times.

“He is the backbone of the team and gives us huge confidence when we play. He is still learning and developing, and he is a guy we want to build a team around. I am excited he has agreed to return and I’m sure the fans will be a tad excited at this news.”

Luke added: “I am truly excited to be back in N22 for another year. After such a great season with the boys it was so easy to say yes to coming back. I can’t wait to play in front of a packed Palace again with the best and loudest fans in the league. Hopefully we’ll be bringing some silverware home too.”

Look out for our 2022/23 ‘Own and Loan’ scheme, which will be launched later in June.
