Haringey Huskies are delighted to complete the return of our netminding duo, with Tom Adams signing up for the 2022/23 season.

Tom first joined the Huskies in 2017, while playing junior hockey for the Haringey Hounds. Having spent a couple of seasons at Romford, Tom returned to Alexandra Palace during the 2021 Spring Cup streaming series and has stayed with us since. Last season, he posted a very worthy 90.41 save percentage across all competitions.

Head coach Dan Sampson told us: “Tom is a young hungry netminder who last season was always pushing Luke. Tom is eager to showcase himself and I am happy he has agreed to return. He is always working hard and puts in sessions whenever he can.

“The backbone of any team is the netminding; with two young guys that push each other, we are only going to see them get better which in turn benefits the team. Tom will have his opportunities this season for the ice time he craves, and I am sure he will step up again.”

Tom added: “I am really looking forward to the new season and getting stuck in from the off. When called upon, I will continue to help the team secure crucial points for the season in our hunt for silverware. I’m also looking to do my part again this year in training while pushing for more ice time.”

Look out for our 2022/23 ‘Own and Loan’ scheme – coming soon.
