Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to retain another long-serving member of the team, as defender Bryn Griffiths signs up for the 2022/23 season.

Bryn has been with us since the club was founded in 2017 and, bar a short work-related absence in 2020, has been with us ever since. He has notched up 94 competitive games for the team.

Bryn told us: “There’s nothing that quite compares to the feeling of playing in front of a roaring sell-out crowd at the Palace.

“We had a great core of players last year with the right atmosphere in the dressing room and a desire to play for each other on the ice. With many of those guys returning for more I’m looking forward to a sixth season in Haringey colours, and of course it will be honour to play for Mayor Appleby.”

Head coach Dan Sampson “Having Bryn return helps solidify our d-core. He is a no-nonsense defenceman, willing to put his body on the line and stand up for his teammates. He also has a big shot from the point. Not one to shy away from a challenge and never fazed, he brings a calmness to the team.

“He is a great presence in the room and always willing to speak up when required. I will be looking for him to continue to build on the previous seasons and help us push for silverware.”

Look out for our 2022/23 ‘Own and Loan’ scheme – coming soon.
