Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to announce that defender Peter Toth has signed up for the 2022/23 season.
Peter played junior hockey in Sheffield and the USA before representing Sutton and Widnes in the NIHL North divisions as a senior. We were delighted to pick him up last summer when he re-located to London. He quickly established himself as a key member of the defence, also notching up 6 goals and 10 assists in 29 games.
Head coach Dan Sampson told us: “Pete is another returnee for the upcoming season and a very solid one. He is a strong defenceman who settled in very well last year. He is very offensive and has an eye for goal.
“Pete helps drive us up the ice and creates good opportunities for the forwards. He is active from the point in the offensive zone and has a great shot on him from there. I am very happy he has returned and, again, he adds to a very strong defensive core.”
Peter added: “I am excited to be back at the Huskies and have another go at winning the title. We are a close-knit group with great depth and talent, and I look forward to contributing to hopefully a championship side.”
Peter’s home and away jerseys are available for ‘own and loan’, priced at £65 each. Please contact manager@haringeyhuskies.com if you are interested.
