Your Haringey Huskies have completed the goaltending tandem for the 2023/24 season, with the welcome news that Tom Adams is staying at the club.
Tom first joined the Huskies as a 17-year-old in 2017, on a two-way arrangement with the Haringey Hounds under-18 team. After a couple of seasons with the Raiders in Romford, he returned to Haringey during the lockdown Streaming Series in Spring 2021 and has been with us ever since.
Last season, he saved all 55 shots he faced.
Tom told us: “I’m happy to be back. After a few weeks away from the game, I’ll be looking to get my head down in pre-season on and off the ice to push for as much ice time as I can get.
“I’m very much liking the way the Huskies organisation is headed and am happy to be along for the ride.”
Head coach Dan Sampson added: “Tom and Luke formed a good partnership last season. Tom is always looking to push Luke for the start and this really helps keep them both sharp.
“When called upon Tom is consistent and allows us to continue to play our game and gives us a chance to win when in net. Tom will be looking to push on again this season and show what he is capable of.”
Look out for our 2023/24 ‘Own and Loan’ scheme – coming soon.
