Well, we haven’t been sure about this one all summer, but are now delighted to confirm that Peter Toth is staying with your Haringey Huskies for the 2023/24 season.

Having played for various clubs in NIHL North, Pete moved to London in the summer of 2021 to study for a masters degree at City University. We were really pleased to pick him up and he has become a key member of the Huskies defence over the last two seasons.

With his studies now complete, Pete had to attend to his life away from hockey before being able to commit to another season at Haringey.

He explains: “As I have finished my masters, my future was uncertain and was dependant on where I was able to secure a job. Once I got an opportunity in London I took it, so I am happy to be returning to the Huskies.

“I’m most excited about playing another year with my mates and hopefully bringing home silverware”.

Head coach Dan Sampson told us: “To be honest, circumstances almost meant Pete was not returning, but I was always willing to wait as long as possible to see if we could get this done.

“Pete is again another solid addition. He is strong, skates well, makes good plays and can chip in with some big goals. He is well liked within the room and will battle all night for the team. He will really solidify our top defensive pairings this season.”

Pete’s home and away jerseys are available for ‘Own and Loan’ at a cost of £65 each. Please email manager@haringeyhuskies.com if interested.
