Your Haringey Huskies are delighted to add forward Cass McCormack to the team.
Cass is 18 years old and has transferred to the Huskies from Milton Keynes Thunder, for whom he has played 8 times this season, along with 33 appearances over the previous two seasons. He played his junior hockey for Milton Keynes Storm, bar one season in Bracknell at under-15 level.
He was signed just in time to play against Streatham and Solent last weekend, being named player-of-the-game in Gosport on Sunday.
Cass told us: “After playing for Huskies last weekend, there is no doubt in my mind I’ve made a good decision.”
“It’s a great team, with great guys and the fans are amazing. I think this is going to be an exciting season for the Huskies and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”
General manager Lee Mercer added: “Cass is raw young talent who is smart beyond his years and plays hockey the right way.”
“His has no fear and his never-give-up attitude will play its part as we come down the business end of the season. We want to keep developing young players and we know the fans are excited to see them out on the ice.”
