Today your Haringey Huskies are happy to announce this season’s first signing from the Haringey Hounds juniors, with forward Will Nowik agreeing a two-way deal between the clubs.

Will turns 17-years-old very soon and was a key part of last season’s Hounds under-18 team. He contributed 19 goals and 15 assists in 16 games played. This made him the team’s top goal-scorer and put him third in total points, just behind two players (Beldecos and Cooper) with whom Huskies fans are already familiar.

As you may have seen, it was the under-18’s most successful season to date as they wrapped up the U18 South Division 1 league title for the first time.

Will told us:

“I’m really excited to be joining the Huskies after two seasons with the Hounds, I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing hockey at the senior level.”

Huskies general manager Lee Mercer added:

“I’m really pleased to see another Hound making the step up to the Huskies this season, with Will Nowik leading the way. This is the first of several Hounds you’ll see making the jump this season.

“It’s fantastic to have a clear pathway for our young talent to progress from junior to senior hockey at Alexandra Palace.

“Will’s move is a proud moment for both clubs and a big boost for hockey in North London. I’m excited to see more Hounds following in his footsteps.

“The future looks bright!”

Look out for our 2025/26 Own & Loan scheme launching soon.
