With regard to the final league standings, what an awful way to end a brilliant season. It’s desperate, desperate stuff.

Normal service has resumed. Nearly. That was as straightforward a game and business-like performance that we’ve seen all season from the Huskies

Last week, we had a quick chat with young Huskies defender Bradley Taylor. We talked about how he got started in the game, his admiration for another #8, golf, his elaborate pre-game rituals and more.

I’m still coming to terms with what we witnessed on Saturday night; trying to catch my breath. No doubt you may be as well. My word, what a spectacle.

This has been a tough one to write. It’s been made tougher because of the point in the season that these results have come, because of how we’ve played in the games preceding, and because of our history against the Guildford Phoenix.

Haringey may be looking at expanding the size of their penalty boxes after that. What an ill-tempered game. Flash-points all over the ice. You got a sense of it at Cardiff last year, but here it boils over.

That’s how the sign read by the queue on Saturday night.I really hope they made it into the game, because they would have missed something really special otherwise.

Where to start with that. An odd one if I’m honest. Some really, really nice play and very encouraging. But some equally poor stuff from Haringey too.
