Your Haringey Huskies are pleased to retain young defender Corey Taylor for the 2023/24 season.

17-year-old Corey joined the club early last season after a stint training with the team. He was thrown in one Sunday night in away in Oxford, when a very short-benched Huskies line-up required all hands to the pump. He acquitted himself well and became a regular feature for the remainder of the campaign. He also won a place at the recent annual EIHA showcase event in Sheffield.

Head coach Dan Sampson commented: “Its great news Corey has agreed to return. He settled in well when joining during last season. He plays a simple game and is great to work with. He works hard and is always ready to take stuff onboard.

“This season will see him continue to develop and be a part of a strong D core as we push for silverware. He is a key part of the project in place at the Palace and I am sure he will show the fans what I know he is capable of.”

Corey added: “I am really pleased to be re-signing with the Huskies for a second season. I really loved last year and the team and fans were incredible.

“I’m looking forward to learning more and developing my game. I can’t wait for the season to get started.”

Look out for our 2023/24 ‘Own and Loan’ scheme – coming soon.
