HEALEY SEALS THE DEAL
Your Haringey Huskies are very happy to announce the retention of netminder Naomi Healey for the 2025/26 season.
Having made the switch from Lee Valley last summer, Naomi soon settled into the room and enjoyed her first experience of Huskies hockey, telling us:
“I loved every moment last season. It is a privilege to step on the ice with such a great group of guys, especially alongside the support from the fans who bring such an incredible atmosphere to both home and away games.”
Naomi played 9 games for the club last season, backing up a further 14 times. Conceding just 14 goals from 152 shots gave her a very solid 90.79 save percentage.
“I have developed so much since joining.” Naomi said, reflecting on the last campaign. “My performances improved over the course of the season and to finish with a 90+ save percentage reflects that progress. Let’s see what I can do next season.”
With the team starting to come together for the next campaign, Naomi is working hard on her game and looking forward to the challenges to come, adding:
“Every time I put on a Huskies jersey on it’s with pride and with a smile on my face and I can’t wait to do it again. Last season we really started to build momentum and we will be taking that into next season.”
Look out for our 2025/26 Own & Loan scheme launching later in the off-season.
