Greyhounds Announcement
The Haringey Huskies, in partnership with Alexandra Palace, are delighted to announce the formation of a women’s ice hockey team: the Haringey Greyhounds!
The Greyhounds will be looking to join the England Ice Hockey‘s WNIHL South 2 and will be hosting their first open trials on Sunday 28th of April at the Ally Pally rink. This will be open to women of all abilities, with the rink split between two skill levels.
The formation of the Greyhounds, continues to showcase how ice hockey in Haringey is an all-inclusive sport, and bolds well for the future of the sport within the local area and beyond.
Huskies GM Lee Mercer will be joined by the new Alexandra Palace rink manager, Kirsty Bard, and Olga Glazer of the London Capitals, as they will over seen the development of the Greyhounds.
