Your Haringey Huskies are overjoyed to announce the signing of forward Ruskin Springer Hughes for the 2025/26 season.

Ruskin is 28 years old and started his hockey journey as a Streatham junior. After a couple of years playing in Canada, he spent five seasons playing in NIHL North 1 for Nottingham Lions, Solihull Barons and Sheffield Scimitars. For the last three seasons he has been playing in NIHL South 1 for Invicta Dynamos.

Ruskin told us:

“I’m really excited to be joining Huskies for the coming season. I think the moves that have been made so far really show the push the team is making towards silverware this season, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

General manager Lee Mercer added:

“I’m delighted that Ruskin is joining us. He is a high calibre hockey player who brings more firepower to the team.

“We have worked really hard during the off-season to put a competitive roster together and this is another key part of the jigsaw.”
