Your Haringey Huskies have secured another key player for the 2025/26 season, with forward Marton Szasz staying with the club for the new campaign.
Marton came to the Huskies from the Haringey Hounds junior club, making his senior debut in September 2022. At 21-years-old he already has three years of Huskies experience under his belt. He has made 80 appearances scoring 80 points in the process – with a nice symmetrical 40 goals and 40 assists.
Last season he played in every single Huskies game, which is very much standard for Marton and certainly does not go unnoticed by the cub.
With exciting young players at Haringey stepping up from the juniors, it is worth remembering that Marton was one of earlier players to blaze the trail from Hounds to Huskies. With his commitment and application levels, and his prominent role in the team, he is a fine example for all the Hounds players following in his wake.
Marton told us: “I was pleased to be asked to stay with the Huskies for the 2025/2026 season. I am grateful to be a part of the team; it is always a pleasure to be able to step on the ice with the guys and deliver for the awesome fans that we have.”

Look out for our 2025/26 Own & Loan scheme launching later in the off-season.
