We are very pleased to announce that Marton Szasz is staying with your Haringey Huskies for his third season with the club.
A graduate of the Haringey Hounds junior club, Marton has settled into senior hockey very well over the last two seasons, putting up good scoring numbers and assuming a prominent role in all situations. He is also ever-present, having played every Huskies game since signing for the club.
Marton is excited to be back for another season, telling us:
“After two close calls to get the title, I can’t wait to hop back on the ice with the guys and make it happen this season – for us and, of course, for the incredible audience that keeps on supporting us throughout the years.”
Head coach Peter Taylor added:
“It is great to be able to have Marton back with us again. He is a former Haringey Hound and therefore a good role model for those younger players wanting to make it in senior hockey.
“Marton always gives 110% on the ice and has a good balance of high work rate and creativity on the puck. He is a great kid and always plays with positivity and passion.”
