Greyhounds Signing 202425-2

Your Haringey Greyhounds are delighted to announce that Hannah Dolan Davies as the first ever player signed for the club.

Hannah started out at Alexandra Palace at 6 years old, competing in figure skating nationally and training internationally, eventually going on to skate with ‘Disney on Ice’ for many years.

After retiring from figure skating, she began coaching, whilst learning to play ice hockey recreationally with the London Yeti’s and the Sobell Slappers. Last year, Hannah began playing with the WNIHL’s London Capitals women’s team.

Hannah commented on the exciting news, saying;

‘I am honoured, and so excited to be a part of the Haringey Greyhounds, in the rink that I have been skating at since I was 6 years old. I hope we can inspire a new generation of hockey players, by cultivating a positive sporting environment for all. Let’s go Greyhounds!’

Furthermore Hannah will not only be the fist player signed for the Greyhounds, but she will also be the first Captain, having been selected by GM Lee Mercer & Kirsty Bard.

Kirsty Bard, GM of Alexandra Palace Ice Rink & of the Greyhounds, commented on this news;

“We are so excited to have Hannah as our captain for the Greyhounds. Hannah is such a great representation of Ally Pally and ice skating. She has been skating here since she was a kid, she is a figure skating coach that also plays ice hockey. She also used to work at the Palace! She is an excellent leader and motivator with such a great clam presence… I can’t think of any better person to lead this team next season.
